The stars of Eclipse will be o GMTV, this Friday the 2nd of July, I’m not sure if Peter will be there all I know is that Ashley Greene will be.

You have some heated scenes with Edie Falco coming up and the big surprise happening in episode 10. I know we don’t want to give it away to the viewers, but what can you say about it?
Yes, in Coop’s world, he starts to develop a little something for her. I don’t want to say where it goes, but somewhere along the lines romantically in Coop’s world, Jackie and he should be together.

Meanwhile, though, you do get a girlfriend on the show soon. The lovely Jill Flint, who plays Jill Casey on Royal Pains and Bex on Gossip Girl.
Yes. I do have a little girlfriend coming on soon very well, and it becomes very difficult emotionally after he decides that he and Jackie should be together. She’s great. I like the stuff with me and the girlfriend. It’s fun stuff because he’s so socially inept with any kind of relationship and yet he doesn’t know it. I feel sorry for him in a funny kind of way.

What do you love about Dr. Cooper?
I find him very sympathetic. I feel he’s very lonely and there are a lot of layers to the guy. On the surface, especially in first few episodes, people think he’s a jerk, but deep down, he’s—and I’m hoping as the series grows people find out that—he’s just really lonely. He doesn’t have many friends, and he just wants to be liked by everybody. He tries so hard for people to like him, and he doesn’t even realize that they don’t like him because he’s so oblivious.

Thanks to Twilight Treasury, we have a new interview with The Twilight Saga: New Moon and Nurse Jackie star Peter Facinelli.

Nurse Jackie, which premiered yesterday, has a lot of people talking – especially interviewers, as we have seen many new videos of Peter Facinelli lately (between Chelsea Lately, Ryan Seacrest, and local television). That said, there is a little repetition between this and the last few, but Facinelli fans will still enjoy the clip.

Not to mention, Facinelli talks – a little bit – about a different aspect of the directorial change from Catherine Hardwicke to Chris Weitz from Twilight to The Twilight Saga: New Moon (and, latently, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse).

Twilight and The Twilight Saga: New Moon star Peter Facinelli, who has just joined the cast of an exciting new film called The Absinthe Drinkers (see here), is signed on to bring us yet another “doctor” to love this year.

Facinelli, who plays Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the Twilight series, has recently been quoted to say that he would’ve loved a part in a series like the BBC’s Dr. Who. Well, it appears, he has taken an even more interesting part.

Showtime, responsible for such hit shows as Weeds, Californication, The United States of Tara, Dexter, The Tudors, and The L Word, is adding Peter Facinelli to its list of on-staff talent. Playing Dr. Cooper in the new series Nurse Jackie, Facinelli will be joined by none other than the fabulous The Sopranos long-timer Edie Falco (the lovely and enduring Carmela Soprano).

Nurse Jackie is a drug-addict who knows her stuff as she goes to all extremes to do her job, including putting the likes of Dr. Cooper in his place by telling him to get out of her way. “God make me good,” says Nurse Jackie, “but not right now.”

Facinelli stated that his character longs for the approval of Nurse Jackie, and that he suffers from quite the condition – sexual Tourette’s Syndrome. In the preview, whilst Nurse Jackie puts Dr. Cooper in his place, he can’t help but reach out and put his hand upon her mammory gifts. Says Facinelli, Dr. Cooper’s sexual tick only comes out when he is nervous and stressed – a condition that the bull-headed and feverish Nurse Jackie tends to put him in on numerous occasions.
