“I think people should be excited about the action that the second one’s going to bring,” beamed Facinelli. “We still have this love triangle between Rob, Kristen and Taylor that grows in the second one, but as a guy I love to see some action too, and we have a lot more action with the werewolves coming out in full form. That’s going to be fun to watch. It’s something that when you read the books you can imagine, but when you see it it’s a whole other thing.

“‘New Moon’ is going to have a lot more action than ‘Twilight,’ which I’m excited about, and then take the action in ‘New Moon’ and double it in ‘Eclipse.’ I get to be a part of that action, which is fun because Carlyle is this calm figure. I think the vampire brawls are going to be exciting.”

MTV: So, Peter, are you going to head over to the convention floor here at TwiCon and buy any “Twilight” merchandise?

Peter Facinelli: No, I don’t buy them. Because it’s like, if you live in the state, you don’t go to the local tourist attractions. I mean, I’m in that world of “Twilight,” so I don’t walk around with a Carlisle T-shirt. But it is pretty fantastic when you see these fans that have the tattoos of the Cullen crest and words from the books tattooed on them. … Their dedication is beyond anything I’ve ever seen.

MTV: There was a vicious storm Friday night here in Dallas, thunder and everything. Did the Cullens bring the rain with them?

Facinelli: Yeah, I noticed that. I got here and it was sunny, and then I looked out the window again, and it was pouring. I thought, “Oh, what a great day for vampires!”

I have re added the already seen New Moon stills but in HQ and untagged. And a few HQ’s from latest events.

No doubt about it, New Moon is the talk of this year’s Comic-Con and, while most of the attention has been focused on Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, they’re not the only ones promoting the Twilight sequel.

Twilight dad Peter Facinelli, accompanied by castmates Nikki Reed and Kellan Lutz, sat down with Wired magazine to discuss the more technical aspects of filming the vampire saga.

Such as the vampire makeup, which, in Twilight, employed a “weird, Japanese airbrush system” where “if someone touches you, you get a shock.”

Yowch! Good thing they changed the formula for New Moon.

But special effects aside, Facinelli believes that the true appeal of the Twilight saga is its “timeless” theme.

I just wanted to remind you of the MTV Movie Awards coming up tonight. Twilight is up for the most awards, and a special sneak peek of New Moon is going to be shown! Hopefully Peter will attend so that we have some new pics of him

I just wanted to let everyone know that I will not be able to update the gallery until next Friday. I am out of town and do not have my own laptop, so I don’t have the means to access into the site’s server. On Friday, expect a big gallery update

On a more serious and sad note, Jennie Garth, Peter’s wife, has released that she has a heart condition. So sad. Here’s a little bit about it:

“I’ve been affected by heart disease practically my whole life,” she recently told Access’ Tony Potts at an American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women BetterU Program event. “My father has struggled with heart disease since he was 50 and I lost him a year ago.”

Having heart disease on both sides of her family has inspired her to talk for the first time about the aliment she discovered seven years ago during her first trip to a cardiologist.

“I have a leaky valve,” she explained. “And it’s a common thing. A lot of people have it, They don’t know they have it… [it] leaks blood.”

Jennie said at times she feels it actually happening.

“It’s your connection to your heart… your artery, the main artery that goes to your heart,” she said. “It sort of flutters open and shut sort of a thing, so you… it’s weird because sometimes when I’m resting I can feel a little weird fluttering.”

Though she’s able to currently lead a normal active life, she noted that trouble could arise as she ages.
