Peter Facinelli says his Twilight character, Dr. Carlisle Cullen, the adoptive father of Robert Pattinson’s vampire Edward, gets to “roll his sleeves up and go do some battle” in Eclipse, the third movie in the series that is set to be released on June 30.

“I mean, he’s supposed to be the most compassionate man in the world, so I made sure that every time I beat someone up, I said, ‘Sorry’, in my head,” Facinelli told On The Red Carpet‘s Chris Balish at the premiere for Disneyland’s California Adventure’s new attraction, World of Color.

Facinelli said he and his Twilight Saga co-stars enjoy each other’s company off-camera.

“Sometimes just we hang out in each other’s places,” he said. “The first night we were back on New Moon, I cooked everyone dinner, so it was nice.”

He said all three of his and 90210 actress Jennie Garth’s daughters – aged 3 to 12, have seen the Twilight Saga films. The fourth installment, Breaking Dawn, is set to be released as two separate films, Summit Entertainment recently announced.

At least that’s the case for the Cullen brood.

In “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” which hits theaters June 30, Seattle is ravaged by a series of killings caused by an army of newborn vampires controlled by revenge-seeking bloodsucker Victoria. To combat the threat against Bella ( Kristen Stewart) in this third installment of the franchise, the Cullens must band together and join forces with their sworn enemies, the wolf pack.

“This time around, you get to see their true vampire-ness,” said Peter Facinelli, who plays head vampire Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the series based on the bestselling books by Stephenie Meyer.

‘Twilight: Eclipse’ is Peter Facinelli’s favorite. Peter Facinelli one of the many stars of Summit Entertianment’s extremely popular “Twilight Saga”. He appears in the original “Twilight”, “Twilight Saga: New Moon” and can be seen again in “Twilight Saga: Eclipse”.

Peter is apparently a huge fan of the novels written by Stephenie Meyers, however, “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” is undoubtedly his favorite, at least, that’s what he revealed to Reelz Channel in a recent interview. He says he’s a big fan of “Eclipse” because of the love triangle which has Bella being torn by two people she really loves, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black. He goes on to say that he enjoys the aspect of the looming presence that threatens to destroy the family.

Of course, the network interviewed various fans of the “Twilight” films, asking them the scene they were most looking forward to in the new film. A majority of them said the ‘tent’ scene. Since I haven’t read any of the books, I have no idea what they’re talking about. Apparently, from what I’ve read, the scene involves Bella being caught by Edward in a tent with Jacob. Did I get it right? If not, by all means, let me know!
