IESB: So are you getting ready for this big epic finale Breaking Dawn, they are saying it’s a two parter, possibly 3D, are they telling you to expect double the time for production?
PF: I haven’t really thought about it much. We just came off of New Moon and I’m still in the gear of finishing up Eclipse, I’m getting ready to go out and promote Eclipse, that’s my favorite book so I am excited to see that one hit the screens. But, I haven’t really put much thought into Breaking Dawn, I think it will be bittersweet but I will be excited to be able to finish up this series and then move on from there.

We had the chance to chat with Peter Facinelli at Sunday’s Milk & Bookies fundraiser, where he blabbed about Robsten’s on-set presence. He may have been vague about Twilight’s true love story, but he did dish some deets about Breaking Dawn, Eclipse and whether his kiddies have read the Twilight series.
The Cullen family papa attended the event with his wife, Jennie Garth, and three daughters in tow, but, despite recently dropping the bomb that she’s leaving 90210, J.G. got to sit back while reporters bombarded her hottie hubby in a chaotic interview.
As Marc Malkin revealed in his latest video blog, Peter kept his lips zipped when it came to any news of splitting Breaking Dawn into two movies, shrugging it off by saying no scripts had been written yet.
“It’s a very thick book. I think that two movies would be a good thing for the franchise. I support it, but ultimately it’s up to what Summit decides,” Peter chatted, though he seemed to pick his words very carefully.

Peter Facinelli on ‘Twilight: Eclipse’ training. Peter Facinelli plays the character of Dr. Carlisle Cullen in Summit Entertainment’s wildly popular and extremely successful “Twilight” franchise. Recently, he revealed some information regarding the intense training that took place behind-the-scenes of “Twilight Saga: Eclipse”. According to NY Magazine, Peter said he was extremely excited about the third installment and they had workout competitions on the set of the film.
He stated, “I’m really excited about Eclipse, we did a lot of training for that movie, like six weeks of fight traning. It was funny because it became almost like an in-house competition and everyone was always in the gym or working out. Sometimes we’d work out three times a day. Once time, I was in my apartment and I was going down to do my workout and the elevator doors opened and Kellan Lutz was in there doing push-ups. I was like, “Okay, Kellan, you win! You win the competition!”
Peter Facinelli, always the avid philanthropist, is doing his part to benefit the victims of Haiti tomorrow in Kentucky.
The Twilight and Nurse Jackie star is headed to Paducah, Kentucky on Saturday, January 30th, to make a mall appearance with autograph and photograph sessions, and part of the proceeds will go to benefit UNICEF’s relief efforts in Haiti!
Facinelli will be appearing at Paducah’s Kentucky Oaks Mall (on 5101 Hinkleville Road) from noon to five o’clock p.m. EST.
Autographs will be available for $25.00, and photographs will also be available for $40.00. The mall requests that you bring cash for these amenities. You can find out more on the mall (and Facinelli’s appearance) at the mall’s website here.
Facinelli’s work won’t be the first time a Twilight series star has come out in support of Haiti. Many of his co-stars, including Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Anna Kendrick, Ashley Greene, Kellan Lutz, Tinsel Korey, and many, many others, have stepped up for the benefit of relieving the victims of this catastrophy.
Peter Facinelli spilled some details about Twilight Saga: Eclipse recently. Facinelli gave Entertainment Tonight the scoop on Dr. Carlisle Cullen in the upcoming Eclipse movie.
We are going to see Dr. Carlisle Cullen in a new light when Eclipse rolls around. You get to see a side of Carlisle you haven’t seen before. There are some great battle sequences.
The fan base has been so phenomenal. When you go to an event, people have flown in from other countries just to take a picture with you. That is a loyal fan base that you can’t even imagine having. I am thankful for all of them. That is why I try to give back in connecting with them on Twitter.

Twilight star Peter Facinelli has described the fanbase behind the franchise as “phenomenal”.
The actor, who plays Dr Carlisle Cullen in the vampire saga, told ET Online that he enjoys “connecting” with fans through Twitter.
“The fanbase has been so phenomenal. When you go to an event, people have flown in from other countries just to take a picture with you,” he said.
“That is a loyal fanbase that you can’t even imagine having. I am thankful for all of them. That is why I try to give back in connecting with them.”
When asked if he has any information on the proposed fourth instalment Breaking Dawn, he replied: “I don’t know. Usually the fans know before I do.”
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is released in June and Facinelli can be seen in the second season of Nurse Jackie from March 22 on Showtime.
We’ve been waiting for soooo long to see Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart FINALLY make sweet, sweet love in the fourth and final Twilight film, Breaking Dawn, that it didn’t even occur to us that some people (re: parents) might not be so happy at the seductive content.
However, Peter Facinelli—who plays hot vampire patriarch Carlisle Cullen—has made us see the error of our ways.
“I have a 12-year-old daughter [Luca Bella, whose mom is Jennie Garth]. She’s a fan and I’d want her not to feel left out or awkward,” Peter, 37, explained to HollywoodLife.com exclusively Jan. 16 at Lionsgate’s pre-Golden Globes party.
“Hopefully it’s a PG-13 type of situation,” he added. “I’m sure the producers and directors know what they want—and especially what they are doing—but I’m sure they don’t want to alienate fans.”
We like how Peter sees both sides here: he doesn’t want to destroy his daughter’s innocence, yet he wants the flick to remain pure for die-hard fans. His primary loyalty is to his family though, after all—family always comes first to this #1 Dad.
Twilight star Peter Facinelli has claimed that he is not interested in using his Twitter account to advertise products, says Access Hollywood.
Speaking at the TCA Panel, the actor revealed that he prefers using the social networking site to stay in contact with his followers.
“It’s a great way to share information with them and it’s also a great way to entertain,” he explained.
“I like being able to put a smile on people’s faces and I like being able to also mix that up with sharing information with them that’s important and also letting them know what I’m doing.”
He added: “I mean I’ve had people come to me and say, ‘Hey, will you tweet this out?’ There’s like paid advertisement stuff. I’m not into that. I like to keep my Twitter pure. I don’t want to sell my followers anything.”
Facinelli, who also stars in Showtime’s Nurse Jackie, currently has nearly 1.5 million followers.
